Circus Next Lab

Getting in the national selection of Circus Next means that you are invited to participate in one of 6 labratories. We’ve been to Paris for 10 days, worked at Espace Peripherique with 4 other projects that are in the first round and with a wonderful mentor Kitt Johnson.

We have been taken care of by the organisation of Circus Next and benefited immensly from the format. Each project had the opportunity to prepare a three hour long workshop or presentation or any kind of mix of those for the other participants. That was followed by an over an hour super detailed feedback session.

Plus we wrapped it up with another set of presentations and shorter feedback round with the Circus Next crew on the last day.

Naturally we are really hoping to get to the Finals, but are already glad for this opportunity, it has clearly helped us to the next level in our creation. We managed to boil down our thoughts into this short pitch, enjoy:

Big Thanks to:

Juliette and Coline from Circus Next for organizing this

Kitt Johnson for keeping it all friendly and not competitive

Espace Peripherique for hosting us

Bry and Caro from Less Kuerdas, Emma Laule, Hannah Finn, Marina Cherry for sharing this experience!
