Test the waters

The next two month, March and April we dove deeper. We read our sources again, we had hourlong conversations about single scenes, we tried to implement famous experiments translated to circus and every Friday we had a session with László Hudi, who has been our mentor in trying to understand what it is exactly we are trying to achive. Also most Fridays we gathered a few friends to test out our new ideas on them: to see how they react, how they understand and what happens and emerges. Hard work, tons of new ideas, lots of confusion, stress, failed experiments and lucky accidents!

In the same time we were preparing for the first edition of our circus festival in collaboration with Trafó House, called MUCH. We planned to do the last work in progress of InthisTogether on the first day of MUCH, 26th of April. That will be our time to test for the first time having not just participants, but also a full theater of spectators, thereby the first time to invite participants into the space, to make them volunteer.

But we did receive Staféta Program, the creation funding of Budapest organised by Füge Productions. That allow us to involve mentors, like László Hudi and Matthias Romir, spend on equiments, costumes, promotional materials and everything else we need o make our vision come true:
